Good Morning Day 9!! Today, is all about learning how to set yourself up for success through preparation, so that the actual execution of a healthy habit feels easier in the moment. The example we’ll be working with is ‘meal prepping’. If you’re new to healthy eating and often feel like you don’t really have the time to make a healthy breakfast, lunch or dinner…it’s always a great option to prepare these meals at the beginning of the week (e.g. on a Sunday), so that throughout the week you have it ready to go — which hence, makes healthy eating so much more sustainable & easy! Let’s start small today, by only doing one thing: taking 5 minutes this afternoon or tonight to prepare your breakfast for Day 10 — so that tomorrow morning you have absolutely no stress, and can just grab it & get going ;)! The same technique also applies to other healthy habits you want to adopt e.g. laying your gym clothes out the day before, or cleaning your space as preparation for a focused work session, or laying your journal out on your nightstand as a reminder to write down gratitude in the morning…and so on! Make it easy for yourself to stick to your habits, prepare your environment!!
