Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F. Wash the sweet potato thoroughly, rubbing off any dirt. Leave the peel on (it’s rich in fiber and nutrients!) or remove it after baking if you prefer a smoother texture. Place the whole sweet potato on a lined baking tray. Bake for 30–45 minutes, or until soft (check doneness by piercing it with a knife).
