Tiramisu Overnight Oats

Method

Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

In a pot, combine oats, milk, chia seeds, sweetener, and espresso. Cook over medium heat for 5–8 minutes, stirring frequently. Add extra milk if needed for creaminess.

1/2 cup Oats

3/4 cup (Almond) Milk

1 tbsp Chia seeds

2 tbsp Sweetener

1 Espresso shot

Step 2

Let the oats cool slightly. Line a small bowl with cling film. Spread half the oat mixture evenly around the sides, leaving a hollow in the center.

Step 3

Mix yogurt with sweetener (if using) and spoon into the hollow. Cover with the remaining oats to seal.

1/3 cup Yogurt

2 tbsp Sweetener

Step 4

Then, place it in the fridge to chill overnight or for at least 1+ hour.

Step 5

On the next day / After a couple of hours, place a plate over the bowl, flip upside down, and remove bowl and cling film.

Step 6

Spread yogurt over the dome, dust with cocoa powder, and sprinkle with cacao nibs.

I like the recipe. It’s a great overnight oats recipe, but could be elevated. Obviously you can do this to your liking, but to add more of a tiramisu touch I’d recommend adding ricotta or perhaps cottage cheese, which would probably make it higher in calories, but would add more depth. I can also vision some healthier version of a cracker in there, soaked in coffee and added in the yoghurt in the middle. Some freeze dried strawberries on top and it would be ✨perfect. This recipe however is a great base and inspiration to base your own creativity on!
