Apple Slices with Mixed Nuts & Herbal Tea

A refreshing and wholesome snack that combines the crisp sweetness of fresh apple with a variety of satisfying nuts. It’s always a great idea to pair sweet fruits, like the apple, with healthy fats…such as nuts, to regulate your blood sugar levels ;)!

Step 1

Wash the apple thoroughly under cold water and pat it dry. I’d always recommend to leave the peel on, since that’s where you find most of the nutrients, plus it adds more fiber ;)!

Notes

Use any type of fruit you like/have at home (I personally always love apples & pears, but that of course also depends on the season ;)! Feel free to swap the nut varieties based on what you have available or enjoy most. Walnuts, pecans, macadamias, or Brazil nuts are all excellent alternatives. You can also add a tablespoon of almond butter or tahini for dipping if you want extra richness. Macros are provided for reference (of course, the accuracy of these can vary due to adaptations of the ingredients or slightly different amounts/portion sizes), but at THV we don't obsess over numbers — No stress. No guilt. Just nourishment🌱💪🏻💕!
